Here is a short synopsis (in reverse chronological order) of some of our shows...

Common Ground – Buchanan, MI - February 2001
A triumphant return to this great venue for one of our most inspired and impassioned shows ever. Thank you to all who came to worship with us! And Thank You Jesus for giving us the strength (half the band was suffering mid-winter colds/flu) to play the show (which was in doubt…). And finally, thanks to Brett and all the other fine people at Common Ground for their uncommon patience and kindness…

Granger Presbyterian Church - Granger, IN - January 2001
Although it seemed like a small showing from all external perspectives, this turned out to be an extremely important show for us as a band. Not only did we make a lot of new friends and had a great performance which we caught live to DAT (keep checking our mp3.com website for details of live recordings that will be released…), we sold many of our CD’s and helped inspire a very generous donation to the church’s Concert Fund. We say, “God is good.” We also totally enjoyed the chance to be a part of the Worship Service on Sunday. What a blessing!

Prairie Gardens - New Carlisle, IN - November 2000
A rare Sunday night show for us at a church that seemed to be in a pretty remote area. Surprise! A nearly full-house (church…actually) of people who made us feel more than welcome. We played a long and sweaty set that no one wanted to end. It was one of those nights you just want to linger afterward… We can’t say enough about how fun this show was.  Thanks to everyone there for everything!

Common Ground – Buchanan, MI - September 2000
We had the distinct pleasure to be a part of the kick-off of what will be a powerful force for Christ in the Southwest corner of Michigan. The Common Ground is a great (did I say great?  Yep, I did…) venue with ample room and atmosphere—not to mention the caring like Brett Elms who run it. Our concert at the inaugural event with newfound friends The Remnant, was one of our best and was covered by some of the local press. Our hats off to the people at Common Ground—and God Bless…

Rhythm and Grace Music Festival - Mishawaka, IN - July 2000
Once again we were at the beautiful outdoor facility at Willow Creek Methodist Church for their annual festival. For those who have never attended, it is a day-long celebration of Jesus. Highlights are talented area music groups, fun, and dinner served to everyone. Best of all—just like grace—it’s completely FREE! Although the newness hadn’t quite wore off our new member Adrian Darsee (guitars, vocals), we played a rousing set. We were blessed by a lack of rain and wonderful sound courtesy of a long-time friend Steve Pierce of Full Range Sound.

GrangerFest 2000 - Granger, IN - June 2000
Two nights of great weather and great shows! Friday night was an all acoustic outing (that was filmed by a local news crew and repeated several times during local news spots--enough times to be seen by nearly every co-worker I have...) and Saturday night was a full-on electric romp. Fun had by all...

Jitterz Coffeehouse - Leo, IN - May 2000
We traveled to the far east of Indiana to this ultra-neat Coffeehouse in li'l old Leo. We were mighty surprised to be fed with soup and fellowship by those nice people who run the place. The band had a wonderful time playing what we all agreed was
one of our best shows.

Solomon's Colonnade - Elkhart, IN - April 2000
WOW! How did this cool club open up under our noses? We finally had a chance to play over there and shared the stage with our good friend Nate Butler and his band Reflecting Red (now re-named 99 left)

Faithfest 2000 - Syracuse, IN - March 2000
This event featured us playing in the largest school gym I have ever seen. The kids who saw us play had spent a long day celebrating and sharing their faith and our show was a great release at the end of the day. Thanks to those of you who stuck around to share and help. And thank God for watching over those who had to navigate the sometimes tricky, sometimes unforgiving, Michiana spring (?!) weather.

The Catacombs - Carmel, IN - December 1999
What I would like to say first is: what a great bunch of people run this great club/outreach. From start to finish they did it right. An awesome, comfortable club with great atmosphere--designed with music and ministry in mind. The crowd was great, everyone had a great time and made our friends Jim and Joe Switzer-- who subbed for unfortunately unavailable bass player--right at home. Highlights of the gig included their song "Renew," as well as a new NBS Christmas song dubbed "For All Time." We would especially like to thank those special folks who prayed in earnest for our performance. I think you know who you are…

Crossroads Café - Nappanee, IN - October 1999
Great to be back at the always highly recommended Crossroads. As usual we were made to feel right-at-home. And the highlight of the night (lowlight?): our rousing rendition of that old Hank Williams tune "I Saw The Light." Next time we'll rehearse it, I promise...

Spirit -N- Truth II - South Bend, IN - October 1999
A special night where we were joined by our friend Lou Paiz to lift our hearts together in praise. A joyous noise? Yeah, you could say that. These kids were just screaming their lungs out, dancing and smiling and embracing the magnificent power of their Savior. I think they want to do it again...

Idyll Hour Coffee House - Spring Arbor, MI - September 1999
What, back again? Oh yes, and this time we brought the power. A special back-to-school rock the house (it actually IS in an old house) fandango.
Did we talk about Jesus? You bet!

Steve and Jennae's Wedding! - Granger, IN - September 1999
Need I say more? God Bless them both.

Idyll Hour Coffee House - Spring Arbor, MI - August 1999
What a "quaint" little java place! (And we do mean little..."where do we set up?!") And despite the small size, it was rockin' with good times and dripping with atmosphere as NBS put in one of their rare all-acoustic sets...

Rhythm and Grace Music Festival - Mishawaka, IN - July 1999
What a great group of people with a heart for the lost were those who put on this festival. Many times in the planning and preparation for the festival was the band inspired by their selflessness , courage, and hard work. We played a great concert (despite the rain) and it couldn't have been possible without Molly McLane at PulseFM! (who interviewed us on her radio show and showed up with a testimony at the festival) and Charlie Adams (who interviewed us for the local news) and last-but-certainly-not-least, everyone at Willow Creek Methodist Church!

Engaged Encounter District Convention - South Bend, IN - July 1999
We loved playing for the many on-fire adults and youth who make up the community of this great ministry. We performed three times (acoustic-Friday, full band Saturday, and Doug solo on Sunday) and debuted the theme song that we wrote for the Convention, "Sowing Seeds." Look for it to soon appear on our mp3.com website.

Cornerstone '99 - Bushnell, IL - July 1999
The band (and their families) had an awesome and inspiring time at this annual celebration of Jesus and Music. Saw lots of exciting bands, recorded live acoustic jams at the campsite, ate food cooked outdoors, and slept little. See you there again next year!

The Calling II - Paris, IL - June 1999
Our second time attending this awesome music ministry seminar put on by HIS Ministry. The band was unbelievably blessed by speakers Dave Bunker and Tom Jackson as well as the other artists in attendance. It was especially cool to see our friend Mark Lang their as well as others from South Bend. Praise God!

Grangerfest - Granger, IN - June 1999
We played at Grangerfest's first ever "Christian Music Night." A super-hot day where the Good News was dripping off of every word we sang.

The Apocalypse - Constantine, MI - May 1999
A really cool youth club run by some very good-hearted people. We played the show with new friends Little Flock as well as Elijah Skyrocket.

Spirit and Truth - South Bend, IN - March 1999
Palm Sunday. A night where over 70 local youth came together with us and another local band (First Hand) to break the boundaries (in our mind...) of worship together. Also, it was the first time our new "green tape" was available. To say it was an inspiring night is an understatement. Hopefully, this summer will see the next Spirit and Truth night and you won't miss it! And remember, God is Awesome all the time!

AD Oasis - Goshen, IN - February 1999
WOW! An interesting night in an interesting club. Sadly, I'm told, one that won't be open much longer. We really enjoyed sharing the stage with Ballydowse, a nine piece celtic/punk band from Chicago. WOW!

30 Hour Famine - Goshen, IN - February 1999
Back again to do what for us is one our favorite gigs. A few hundred kids having a blast and singing about God -- even a conga line! World Vision is a great organization following Christ's command. Support them if you can.

Crossroads Café - Nappanee, IN - February 1999
Back at the Crossroads. We can't say enough good things about this venue-and neither could
the kids at the show. We highly recommend it
!

Pleasant View Church - Goshen, IN - January 1999
We were the featured entertainment at an all-night event.
We just made it home before the blizzard hit the next day...

Youth Retreat - Syracuse, IN - November 1998
A special acoustic set for everyone at the retreat while they were
endeavoring to seek God. Great fun!

Harvest Fest '98 - Shipshewana, IN - October 1998
A concert, sponsored by "The Outreach," in a large log cabin in the woods for an awesome group of kids.
We were completely knocked out by their personal testimonies of conversion and God's love.

The Coffeehouse - South Bend, IN - October 1998
A special acoustic set for a bunch java swillers. The joint was jumpin'

Crossroads Café - Nappanee, IN - October 1998
We had a blast playing at this awesome outreach for kids. A great little club with tons of ambience...

The Prodigal Party - South Bend, IN - September 1998
A return engagement at "The Prod."

The Event - South Bend, IN - September 1998
An outreach event with games, testimonies, and bands. Also appearing (in their first gig!) Blue Chalk.

The Event Preview - South Bend, IN - September 1998
A special acoustic preview to encourage those who were going to be working at The Event

The Prodigal Party - South Bend, IN - August 1998
A church outreach center for youth in our own neighborhood! We had a cool time giving a concert
to kids who had probably had never seen a concert before-let alone one with a Christian message.

The Calling - Paris, IL - June 1998
A very cool music ministry seminar put on HIS Ministry. It is so awesome to see other artists give back to those who are just starting in this ministry. There was a great concert at the end with all the artists who attended.

Godstock - Syracuse, IN - May 1998
What a great name right? Well, it was a beautiful day in a beautiful park next to a beautiful lake.
What more could you ask for? Oh yeah-and tons of Christian music!

Bandfest - South Bend, IN - May 1998
A cool time playing with a lot of up-and-coming bands...

Corpus Christi - South Bend, IN - April 1998
We donated our services toward a special fundraiser dance to help kids go to a
Summer Youth Conference. An interesting night...

30 Hour Famine - Goshen, IN - February 1998
Opened show for Amanda Pate. The event raised $18,000 for World Vision!

Christmas Unplugged - South Bend, IN - December 1997
Special unplugged Christmas show for St Anthony's Youth Group, featuring new
arrangements of traditional carols and a new song, "At Christmas" by the band.

St. Anthony's Youth Concert -South Bend, IN - November 1997
Our first show as ...not by sight. Sean & Shayne (a.k.a. SYBTU) and Rutherford's
Groovin' Vibes opened. It was a great time with many giving personal testimonies.
Everyone had a great time for an unbelievably low price!

More to come...
